The Benkelman team wanted to build a community web site for Dundy County with their MIRA grant. The team felt that a community web page would ultimately help the economy of Dundy County grow.

The team, composed mostly of local high school students, first developed a master web page for Dundy County. They then created separate linked pages for categories such as shopping, available housing and jobs, youth activities, recreation, collections and hobbies, schools, agriculture, and business. Through this master web page and the links the team hoped to attract people to Dundy County by promoting the quality of life available there. This could lead to the relocation of new business and families to the Dundy County area.

At this time the Dundy County web site is not available for public access, but the team hopes to have the site up and running in the near future. Once the site is live, it will be housed in the computer purchased by the team, which is located in the Benkelman Women's Club Library. The local internet provider has agreed to give the library free internet access to host the site.
