The Dublin team wanted to provide Dublin families and businesses with access to improved electronic information resources. They accomplished this goal by creating the Dublin Information Station in their public library. With the MIRA grant the team purchased furniture to create each of six computer stations. Two of the stations are used for card catalog, another is a ready reference link to the main library system and the others are for a variety of used. They also build a series of backdrops to divide the stations from the rest of the library. The team also purchased a scanner for the station and bought educational software for use by all ages.

With the progress the team made with the MIRA grant, they were able to obtain grants from the local school system and the state library. This money is helping to actualize projects envisioned in the original MIRA proposal. Computer training as begun to take place in the lab and later in the year they will begin to host classes that will be held after school as a family learning project. Parents will attend with their students and learn while assisting them in their homework.
