e-Valle, created as part of the MIRA process, is a collaborative venture between six non-profit organizations working in the San Luis Valley. The goals of e-Valle are to provide access to a collection of on-line resources to non-profit organizations, and serve as a central resource for information about the San Luis Valley.

e-Valle provides links to a variety of resources within the San Luis Valley. These resources include business and economic development, travel and tourism, parks and recreation, city and county government, state and federal government, non-proft groups, and history and cultural. Each of these links then provides the user with links to a variety of oragnizations in the San Luis Valley area that can assist them in that particular area.

This project was created with the non-technical community user in mind. The organizations hoped that the creation of the data index would expose service providers to new technology and provide incentive for them to actively seek out the additional resources and services existing in the community. This index allows each organization, as well as the group as a whole, to reach clients, customers, and providers by expanding their accessibility and improving their marketing capacity.
