The goal of the Giles team was to increase public knowledge of community events and provide a public information forum for the residents of Giles County. This team accomplished their goals by establishing a community Bulletin Board. The Bulletin Board is broadcast on local television stations and is available to the entire community.

The team purchased three computers to be used for the creation of the Bulletin Board. One computer is located at the central office and is made available to the superintendent of the school system, so that school related announcements are made expediently and efficiently. Another computer is located at the Timber Cooperative Cable Company, one of the two cable companies that services the county. The other computer will be located at the Charter Communication Cable Company in the near future. The Bulletin Board plans for that company were put on delay as the company installed new fiber optic technology to the area. Once the construction is complete and the Bulletin Board is up and functional with that company, the Board will be easily accessible to the entire community and the Giles team will have realized 100% of their goals.
